Mind the Gap - Review

As most of you might already know, ShajbaCo is a crew of guys from North Eastern Slovenia and Austria. They are pretty active when it comes to filming, shooting and partying (they also organize one of the best contests in our Region: the Fecelinabilica Jam).

After receiving and watching their newest production "Mind the Gap" (thanks again for sending me a copy, Miha), I decided that the movie was way too good not to make a review of it. I would've loved to attend the premieres, but I have a pretty busy schedule lately and I just couldn't make it.

Urban Roof - 2010 Recap

Nokia N8 Edit

Well, we posted an iPhone video a bunch of months ago and now it's time to see Nokia's response to it. Of course, the video has been stabilized (steadicam rig) and color graded. The quality is stunning.

On a side note, I just bought an HTC Desire (that also films in 720p HD) and I might try something similar as soon as we get a sunny day. Stay tuned.

SCA[REC]ROW Redisigned

As you might have noticed, the blog has gone through some major changes. First and foremost, we have a new URL (Domain name) - SCRCRW.COM
Feel free to bookmark it (even though, the old Blogspot URL is still active).
Other changes are the design colors, a bunch of new features (Poll, Picture of the Week) and some minor tweaks here and there.
We're also working on stickers and apparel and hopefully I'll have more news in January.

Adam Hauck "The Lost Footage"

Marina di Ravenna Skatepark

Bad news for the Marina di Ravenna skatepark. It is being sold due to unspecified reasons. However, some other city might buy the ramps and place them in a new location (perhaps closer to our Region. Some speculations talk about Venice/Mestre).

Urban Projekt - Step Forward project

Lučo (Urban Projekt mastermind) told me about this a few days ago and now there is a project as well. According to them, it could be done in 3 to 5 years time. This is located in Nova Gorica. Basically, the bowl would take the skatepark's place, while the surrounding ground would be a skate plaza. I don't know what they're going to do with the vert ramp though.

Also, it's good to know that there probably won't be any restrictions for BMX bikes.
